The Technology Department’s mission is to build and maintain a technology infrastructure that will facilitate and enhance the teaching, learning and working efforts of the faculty, staff and students of Thunderchild First Nation.
Goals
- Utilize technology to enhance communication throughout Thunderchild First Nation.
- Explore and incorporate new technologies.
- To create a stable human and technological infrastructure.
- To prepare technology graduates with the skills to succeed at higher academic levels and/or allow them to compete in a global career market
- To create an atmosphere of technological environment that enhances and supports opportunities for the community
- To promote consistent, standardized learning and working technology environments
- To promote an environment that is secure and ethical

97.3 TcfM
The Thunderchild Community Radio Station has undergone complete upgrade.
The tower has been moved from it's old location at the Cultural Center to it's new location at the Nation Head Office, this gave us more land height that will give us a stronger radio signal.
TCFM now has a full production room with the ability to pre-program and make quality commercials for businesses that would like to advertise on 97.3 TCFM.
TCFM is now streaming on the world wide web, so anyone anywhere in the WORLD that has an internet connection can tune into 97.3.
